My name is Steve Ibeawuchi. I am a clergyman by profession. Native of Owerri, capital of Imo State in Nigeria. Attended grammar school in Nigeria and college in India, where I acquired a master’s degree in business administration and managerial economics. While in India, I had the rare opportunity to step into Christian Mission for almost 9 years. Much of my work was among universities and colleges across 32 states and regions of the subcontinent of India. Churches, convents, monasteries, college leaderships, local Law Enforcement, local businesses and newspapers in these cities gave immense support. Back home in Africa, after serving in the Nigerian Youth Service Corp, I attempted to join the Nigerian Army as a Finance Officer. That did not work out. I took up a job with African Development Consulting Group in Lagos where I became exposed to the dealings of the nation’s premier industrialists, government agencies and the banks. In two to three years, I had conducted almost 30 feasibility studies of industry projects amounting to billions of dollars. My success in this field got me appointed as the editor of Nigeria Financial Review by the Central Bank. The trills of a growing professional life did not move me away from the focus of my Christian ministry. Through secular field and position, I still maintained a very tight schedule around Church and ministry. By 1998, I started a remedial school in the Ojodu-Langbasa-Owode areas of Lagos where I also began a Church plant. The school catered for 350 to 400 students. I came to the United States June 2002 after repeated divine guidance to step back out into foreign missions. For 12 years, I worked in the Atlantic City areas of New Jersey, NY and Pennsylvania before relocating to Jacksonville Florida in 2014. My mission is elaborate and personal. Sharing the wisdom of the Gospel, guiding everyone to a life of personal freedoms, spiritual awakening and economic freedoms. You may know me better through my blogs: https://silveroaknetwork.substack.com/ OR the book: Painful Adjustments on Amazon. I am a defender of the Republic and the values that make us who we are. I have been blessed with four amazing kids and a community of friends. I run a small consultancy outfit, SilverOak Corporate Services, Inc, https://silveroakcorporateservices.com/.
